Announcing Radio Free Comlish

A message from the President of Radio Free Comlish, Greg Comlish

For those on the margins of America's dominant conservative culture, America is a cruel and largely inhospitable place. Yet these margins have grown so large as to encompass virtually everyone, be they Christians, Atheists, Muslims or Jews. A sense of alienation and separation affects urbanites, rural dwellers, and most of all the suburban masses whose chambered existence offers little exposure to physical world or into the lives of others, all of whom are similarly chambered.

Radio Free Comlish is one man's struggle for consciousness in a world devoid of any natural rhythm. Radio Free Comlish is an experiment to broadcast free thought deemed impermissible by societal norms or the economic interests under which I labor. RFC is primarily a human narrative, but aims as a matter of principle to connect his story with the broader human story. Mostly, Radio Free Comlish is a dictate by my own conscience to create some space in which I may live within the truth.

I hope my skills as an analyst and a writer will provide substantial quality to my writing, but posts will be largely unedited and may be imprecise, biased, or half-formed. This is a journal, not a publication. I may say things I later disagree with or even regret. That's okay.

This journal will be a success if it provides me context and understanding of my own life, and enables me to live a more moral existance.
